John Hardy Kali Pebble Turquoise Multi-strand Bracelet
yeah i know, some things look great in photos but i love loveee multi-strand bracelets or really wide bangles =D the website says it's
|
• Sterling silver. • Turquoise pebbles. • 7 1/2"L. • Handcrafted in Bali |
isn't that so worth it for USD$795.00? :P i could probably buy a plane ticket to Bali and get some pakcik to craft it for me for half that price :S
Cole Haan Triangle Tote from the Genevieve collection
simply because: it has my NAME on it! literally! how cool is that! the un-uniformed weave is hot too. details are (with the good bits in yellow):
- Custom antique brass hardware
- 9" adjustable handwoven shoulder straps
- Logo jacquard lining
- Interior zip, cell, PDA
- Multi-function pockets (!!!!!)
- Fits laptop
- 19" L X 11" H X 5" D
Maxi dresses...ahh...how good to see you back in fashion again. a welcome boon to my hideous legs. (yes, that is why i wear jeans ALL the time).
airy, floaty, romantic...big-tummy-hiding...what's not to love?
Top Pick : Tibi Madagascar Print Long Dress (saks.com)
My i-always-look-good-in-green fave. yes yes, i know the neckline is low plus it has crisscross tie straps which means death to bras. but it's chiffon! think how floaty it would feel...and plus if i had the USD$460 to pay for it, it would go great with the Genevieve bag!
Kay Unger New York Paisley-Print Silk Gown (neimanmarcus.com)
Silk!! SILK!!! and this is some gorgeous shade of blue..i love that gather at the centre, it makes the rest of the dress fall so beautifully. though it would probably slide off my airport-runway chest, (temporary) at USD$430, it's cheaper than the Kali bracelet i'd pair it with :D
Elie Tahari: Deanna Floral Maxi Dress (saks.com)
peach is not my colour i think, but i still like it! high-risk of looking
pregnant in this, but v-necks always worked wonders for me. i'd have to
think long and hard if i wanted to shell out USD$398 for this though.
flalasites:
Spektra.net - this one points you directly to the tutorials section. mainly for MAC users (the makeup, not the 'puter brand), but you can substitute your own colours. some are horrendous, but most are more than fantastic.
Youtube - for video makeup tutorials. no kidding helps a lott with understanding eyeshadow quads and eyelining.
Makeup Alley - requires registration but this is the place i go everytime i'm thinking of getting something new for my skincare or just any sort of makeup. normal, everyday people put in their reviews and it really helps with knowing the product before you actually spend your hard-obtained cash on it.
InStyle's Trend of the Day - found this site a few weeks ago and it had like 200+ trends. omg, the amount of time i spent clicking..and clicking..but there are some great tips worth checking out, so if you are seriously bored like me, give it a go.
look-but-can't-touch (for now) sites:
forever21.com - i like EVRYTHING on this site. EVERYTHING.
neimanmarcus.com
bloomingdales.com
nordstrom.com
saks.com
see, i can't be bothered to finish the Jong's Croc Farm post that i started the other day but i can stay up till 6.30 a.m to write this shit. am FINALLY going for a haircut tomorrow thanks to Diehard's willingness to bring me. i knew there was a reason i liked him :D
