i just realised it's 2.29 a.m and i have less than 2 hours to go before waking the LOG up. what was i so immersed in?

anyway. the point of this post. you know how the smell of washing powder makes you think of Sunday laundry, while the smell of hot tyres takes you back to exciting dark nights on certain long strips of roads outside of your hometown? (ok, that could just be me :P)

and then there's that smell...the one you've never smelt before but feels all so familiar somehow..like coming home...

Bling Ring

been watching a LOT of movies lately and am in the middle of Almost Famous, one of those cult movies i'd been meaning to watch for ages. check out the Elton John song from this movie, Tiny Dancer, introduced to me by Ting, an ex-housemate of mine. i miss leeching his songs! :P

getting back on track, i've watched some movies that have 'inspired' me to make purchases that i would not normally have, just cause they look so good on the movie star! yeah ok, i'm far from, but we can all dream :D

so next on my list will be a bling ring, as in a ginormous (FAKE) stone sitting pretty on my (right?left?) hand. yay! budget:RM30! hope it doesn't make my already short and stubby fingers look even more stubbier but, eh, i've always loved the boho look. anyway if you notice in the photo, her fingers aren't that long either and her nails are short and round

inordinate number of posts. no freaking wonder. i blame my curiosity, as usual.

i knew there was a reason i lined my eyes completely today. RAH!

Goodbye and Good Luck

about 2 years ago i chanced on this blog. Her pictures were simple yet meaningful, they were stories that i could really relate to. i even made a phone theme out of her work! and she also seems to have a good guy friend that funnily enough is called Pandaboy :DDD

now it seems she has decided to end her online career, possibly because she has finally found happiness elsewhere and has no more need to pour her feelings on to paper and online. i am happy for her but at the same time selfishly sad because i don't have her drawings to look forward to anymore.

funny how it seems she found 'life' again almost a year after i did. :D

if you haven't stumbled on her site, you're indeed lucky because you have a whole set of new drawings for you to discover at your leisure. i hope one day she will continue drawing again of her new happy life in a stable relationship and hopefully about her views on other things as well.
