oh dear. i really should stop doing this. but it seems to be, for now, my only way of making me feel like i am actually doing something about my..shall we say, state of emotions. :P just a stupid theme song from a stupid tv show. and my mind suddenly feels like it's been whisked into a hurricane.

apologies for the crappy dark photo. for the curious, it's a photo of the place behind (?) the courthouse, next to Padang Merdeka. i thought it appropriate to put up, as it was taken during my drive and also made me realise, again, to the fact that things change all the time, and there's just no way around it. another one of life's many wake-up calls.

yes i remember. it was a year ago. you were wearing your blue shirt from cotton on and it got a stain on it after that looked like bird shit. we argued three times. two girls walked past singing kelly clarkson's "because of you" and we laughed at their youth, i didn't know how much that song would come to mean to me. but yes, the fireworks were beautiful, all the more so because you were there with me.

i remember everything. i wish i didn't.

.. missing from this..i'm in that strange place where you're half enjoying evrything just for yourself and you're half wishing someone was there with you..trouble is i don't know who that someone is.

panorama photo, i cut short the sea a bit so yeah obviously out of proportion! the sun bit came out weird cos the light was shining directly into the lens.

bought a similar pair of thongs in Beijing, 3 times! cause it broke, they were 10 kuai (rm5) and these were 100baht (rm10) but had good thick rubber soles so may last longer this time :)

was already planning to have breakfast by the beach so at 8 i reluctantly got up from my comfy deckchair and chose a table by the sea to eat. first bowl: muesli with fruits. OMG it was nice! sad lonely breakfast among geriatic couples :P
