Alicia Keys - Like You'll Never See Me Again

and this song is just like....wow...

*aHEM* *sniffs* *rubs palms together* *does trademark nose-rubbing*

Dear Crush, I went to watch a movie last night with my sister and her girlfriend, after ladies nite at Zen. It was extremely stupid of me, but i'd hoped to see you around somewhere. so i was in the elevator going up and idly wondering if you'd step in when the doors opened at the 9th floor and who do i see but your friend. sigh. obviously never meant to happen. goodnight.

a song for you

a random rendezvous

have lately been getting a lot of flack from multiple parties about my friendship with Genius. quite irritating, i know i say to hell with what people say, but it still irks me at times. our friendship was renewed after a three year sabbatical due to not-so-pleasant circumstances. i'm very sure he, like me, would have preferred it not to continue if it meant that certain things did not happen. lol. because of those circumstances, he is the only who understands what i'm going through and vice versa.

being very cryptic but yeah. he's a good friend. whether people choose to believe that is completely up to them in the end i guess.

so we left BM earlier, for me it was partly because a certain individual had arrived, and i wasn't comfortable in his presence. i really hate it when people dislike me.. even though he has a completely irrational reason for doing so. i wanted to finish listening to the rest of my Liang Jing Ru album that i got from Kenyalang. so we took the long way home :D

i think sometimes Chipmunk doesn't see the beauty of living here. i love the red lanterns strung across the streets, the feel of old family-owned businesses and new modern shops going along side by side.
we were going past the courthouse and it looked so beautiful at night, i was suddenly 'inspired' to take a walk around. he parked near C-11, i got a bottle of water and off we went. he was already wiping his brow when we crossed the street LOL. obviously in dire need of some exercise! ok fine, i do too. the photo is all green cause for some reason they put green lights up. is it more energy-efficient?
walking through the courthouse gives you a sense of..oh man i don't know how to say it. i was just walking and telling Genius about it and sniffing the air like some sort of mad dog :D i guess that probably explains the daemon? it just feels so..clean...and orderly, like how a courthouse should feel i guess.

the knobs are not really clear in the photo (damn i can't wait for jo to get back and teach me Photoshop) but they were gorgeous to me. the photo was taken by Genius as evidenced by the timestamp.

this is the real reason i came down for a walk, we drove past and it just suddenly loomed out of nowhere. i don't know how scary it looks in the day but at night it was like Armaggedon!
was saying to Genius how you could go up to Bako for the races and then come down and buy your mother some vegetables or fish for the next day :D i wonder why they sell all the fruits and veg in the middle of the night? is it because it's cooler and the food won't rot as fast? or maybe cause it's dark and the customers won't notice the little 'details' ;D anyway it was a good night. i like doing random things :)

Across The Universe

was looking through the Grammys list to see if my Johnny Boy made it (only one nomination! *heart breaks*) when i came across this movie in the Best Compilation Soundtrack Album category. The title being one of my favourite Beatle tracks, i decided to Google it.

what a fantastic trailer!! going to find the dvd!! and it's by a lady director tooooo :D

i'm a doggie :~~~~

went to watch The Golden Compass tonight with Tassie, Amoi Tinggi and MY. it was quite nice, the girl wasn't as dead as i thought she was in the trailer. after that, MY told us that there was a quiz on the website, http://www.goldencompassmovie.com that helps you to determine your daemon. i have not had any sleep for the past 35 hours or so, so i'll go into detail another time. but the three of us, Tassie, AT and I couldn't wait to do the quiz so after yamcha at Jln Song, we rushed back to the computer.

height="400">

what do you think?

sighz. well at least its not a snake or something :D

i'm not on a diet

Old Man brought back some steaks from Singapore the other day. didn't take photos of the wonderful dinner we had, but we had a small piece left over and a few days after that i sliced it into a salad.
my usual rojak salad, which is anything you can find in the fridge that you think will go together. Australian green coral lettuce, sliced cucmber, broken-up feta and dried dates, and the sliced steak.
yeah i know, dried dates sound funny but they gave the salad a nice slightly sweet twist :) and OMGGG the feta. words cannot describe how much i love this cheese. tomatoes, cucumber, feta, a drizzle of olive oil, some lemon juice and a sprinkle of coarse black pepper = hallelujah in your mouth.
even though it was a great meal and i had a great view, was still casually wondering in the back of my mind what he was having for lunch :)

it's ok. the psychoticness will end soon. i hope.

complete stupidity or utter bravery?

it's probably the latter. i really should stop watching romantic films when my heart is not calm :P

but i went and did it anyway. it's COMPLETELY and UTTERLY crazy. i will probably never be able to show my face in my hometown again.

and all this just because :

oops

i realise i stop blogging the moment something happens in my life, enough to disrupt my usual train of happy thought, not that it's not sort-of slightly happy-ish this time, but still. interruptions are not very welcome, especially when the outcome is so damn uncertain.
it's seriously stupid. so i resolve to stop it as of RIGHT NOW.

or at least try.

new posts tonight! promise!
your only clue ;)

Dunhill Centennial Edition

*a note to the Reader: i do NOT smoke. i am a STAUNCH advocate of banning smoking from every single corner of God's green earth. this is due to the traumatizing and deeply scarring incident where an innocent four-year-old's usual place in the family car was behind her father whose (@#%!@#$@~!!!!) cigarette smoke blew from his driver's seat window right back into her backseat passenger's side. :S

however, i do like cool-looking lighters quite a bit :)so this was purchased purely for aesthetic reasons (and also cause it was damn cheappp! like RM9.20, according to Genius).
Genius and I arrived at a foodcourt in MJC and found two boxes already bought on the table. the menthol edition has the text in green and the lights edition (which i got) is in blue. when we found out how much it cost, we rushed to the counter and i quickly told the guy "semua!". i swear he gave me a strange look ;)
bought another 2 for Tassie and Amoi Tinggi. they were so happy the next morning, well that's one xmas present done ;D

engines can sing?

:D someone made me lie tonight! and i just went to church too...lol..
have apparently been acting slightly strangely for the past few days. damn hormones. quit my job too :D got a whole heap of pressies and am very very touched. sometimes you think you're a crappy person then things happen to make you realise that maybe you're not so bad after all :)
pretty :)

went to isabella's later that night with Tassie and her friends. was pondering on a lot of stuff, mainly the fact that i seem to have been living my life by other people's demands for the last decade or so. maybe it's time to start thinking for myself.
